Axle/Gears: Borg Warner 3.27

Cat Air Connection

Anybody know if I can use emissions hose to connect the tube on the side of the catalytic converter to the air tube without it getting too hot and catching on fire?

I used a rubber hose, it hasn't melted off or anything.
