4th gen I-pipe?

I found a great deal on 3" I pipe wich is what i need to replace my exhaust and use the muffler I want and do it much cheaper than buying a $385 full system. Only problem is that the I pipe which is all I really want to buy right now is for a 4th gen 99-02 f-body, how hard would it be to make this work? I still need the axle peipces, but the fron section looks straight and the thirdgen has more of an angle to it, would this be a big problem and throw off the whole sytem to a different angle under the car?

Why not buy a thirdgen I pipe so you get a part that will work? They aren't that expensive.

Re: 4th gen I-pipe?

LT1s after the cat are virtually the same, except for hanger location. LS1s after the cat only differ by the hangers again & where the i-pipe connects to the y-pipe. Which is easy to fix.

I have a complete LS1 cat back on my L98.

Re: 4th gen I-pipe?

thanx guys, been wondering about that. I have decided to go ahead and just buy a whole catback, I realized that I dont feel like making/customizing another exhaust system, done it to much, and dont feel like the extra work. But thats great info to know though.
