true dual's SIDEPIPES

true dual's SIDEPIPES

i find no good answer to it so i m going with side pipes for one its true duals in all aspects and i m OLD SCHOOL i like the hot rod look and i can adjust the sound to my likings i plan to lift the front and rear some with bigger springs the front might be a challenge but thats another issue peace

Well, if you absolutely insist on sidepipes please go with the smooth non-shielded type.

Maybe you could paint them black or white like the shelby cobra side pipes.

Get a 70's Camaro if you're old school and have to have sidepipes. Then you could even jack up the back end along with some big wide tires to complete the look.

If you are going to do true dual sidepipes on a 3rd gen, I like to have them be subtle and tucked in. Like this: (cost 250 and allowed me to retain catalytic converters)

The Twin Turbo cars side pipes look good, because they fit & are not off-the-shelf shielded ones like the last 2 cars.

It isn't the shields that I'm against (although I don't like the shields), it is the fact that the off-the-shelf ones are too short for our cars to look right.

Longer shielded ones MIGHT look good too. Not sure.
