header wrap
anyone wrap a set of hooker long tubes? how much wrap did it take to wrap them to the collector?
Thanks-
Eric
Edit: Please don't tell me not to wrap them, I know the pros and cons of wrapping them, and thats what I have chosen to do.

Re: header wrap
I don't have a specifice answer, but I'm looking at the same question
for 2460 shorties, using 1" wide wrap. One day in Lowes/H-Depot
(can't remember which), I saw a roll of 1" wide plastic boundary
marking tape, for about $2. So if I wrap with this, then measure,
it should tell me how many rolls I need. Accuracy is not critical,
since wrap is purchased by roll, not foot. For example, if it takes
30 ft of tape, I'll need 2 50' rolls of wrap.
And for fasteners, I'm going to use stainless steel picture hanging
wire (also from Lowes/H-d), then crimp on butt-splice connectors
(without the plastic insulator) to secure the loop.
Hope this helps.
