muffler choice?
okay so ive narrowed my exhaust choices down to three mufflers. the flowmaster 80 series. the super 44, or the super 40. i have a 305 that sooned will be swapped with a 350, this is my first car and i want it to sound is good as it looks. is there anyone that has any of these mufflers on there car. And do you like them or wish you would have choosen something else? Im just looking for something that gives it a nostaligic sound, something deep and throaty sounding and these are the best sounding ones i have found, but if anyone has any other suggestions it would be greatly apreciated.

On both my 90 RS & 92 RS, both 305 TBIs, I ran the 2-chamber 40 series. Very nice sound.

spiral flows are compact in size like a glasspack but are very different in construction. there is no packing to burn out. they are around $50 each. there is a link in my last message to a video so you can hear them.

Re: muffler choice?
I have an aerochamber on my T/A it is running the stock manifolds for now. But its quiet at the stop light but when you hit the gas you here your intake take a deep breath and that aerochamber roars to life. I love quiet when cops are at stoplights but loud when you get going.

Re: muffler choice?
Thats pretty much exactly what i want in my muffler, i want it to have a nice deep rumble at idle, but as soon as you hit the the loud pedal i want it to scream.
