I can tell you that they are VERY similar, the main difference is that the number 8 primary tube goes back a little bit further, I'm gonna test fit a set when I put my LT1 in, I'll post pics later this week when I get back in town.

The driver's side is very similar, but the passenger side is completely different due to the routing of the A/C box on the firewall.

If you can make them fit, then let us know.

I won't be leaving missouri until at least thursday, so it'll be friday at best, I can take pictures of the G bodies next to some hooker super comps for reference.

The heddmans aren't drastically different, the only part thats different is the number 8 tube, I'll get pics when I get back to pensacola.

I won't be able to test fit them by monday, I can get plenty of pics of them next to my hooker super comps for ya if thats helpful. I would almost bet money they would fit, the only problem I see (assuming they are heddmans) is the number 8 primary might run pretty close to the firewall.

Re: 80's gbody long tubes fit fbody?

I just pulled two pics off of google images, one of the 2210's one of the heddmans I have, you can see, it's actually the number 6 primary that would cause the problem, not the 8. they're pretty decent headers , I really don't see ANY other reason why they wouldn't fit, but just an FYI, you will need a mini starter to clear them.
