Glass packs or Pipes???

Glass packs or Pipes???
Ok gear heads, i'm car illiterate, so please help me out.
I've got an 83 Berlinetta 2.8L in which i'm putting a 350 in this summer. Due to the fact i need pipes and the whole gig for the 350, do i want to run straight pips or glass packs? and if i get glass packs, do i want to dual glass pack it, blow the glass pack out, or leave it alone? What do i do
P.S. no i dont want a muffler.
