looking for a 3" INTERMEDIATE PIPE
I just got me a new 3" cherry bomb muffler, but i cant seem to find the exhaust pipes from the car to the muffler on any web site i go to. I just need the pipe but everywhere i look they got mufflers and thats something i dont need.

Summit sells a 3" dynomax pipe from the cat back with no muffler. I have it on my car. I'd imagine it would fit yours also.

the only thing summit has is a intermediate pipe kit... not the actual one piece pipe.. unless it is.. im sketchy when it comes to that. and i went on napas site and they dont have a 3 inch pipe.. just a 2 1/4

Re: looking for a 3" INTERMEDIATE PIPE
go to Summit and get the Dynomax part number... put that in the parts search box on the NAPA site with the "interchange" box checked off -leave off the "WLK" prefix on the part number since that's Summit's own internal code for "Walker Exhaust".. make sure you have "no vehicle specified" in the box at the top center of the page..
another trick that works on Summit: look up complete cat back kits. they have the instruction sheets right on the same page.. they will have the part numbers for each individual piece of the kit: for example, a Flowmaster stainless cat back with a 3" intermediate pipe has this instruction sheet:
http://static.summitracing.com/globa...flo-817233.pdf
take the letter "S" off the part number for mild steel, and you get this:
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FLO-26103/
and this:
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FLO-26003/
which gives you an intermediate pipe, but the part number for the over the axle pipe doesn't work, but Dynomax sells one of those which may or may not work with the Flowmaster pipes..

Re: looking for a 3" INTERMEDIATE PIPE
I was told by a guy at summit that the 26003 is the pipe between the manifold to the cat and not the pipe from the cat to the axle

Re: looking for a 3" INTERMEDIATE PIPE
I got a 3" pipe from Mufflex a few years ago. I had them make it in 3 pieces for me so I could fit the way I wanted. I welded 3 bolt flanges on all the ends so I can remove it when need be.
