I'm wondering if removing the bolt from both motor mounts and jacking the engine will raise it high enough to allow removal of the manifold bolts on the passenger side?
Both Y-Pipe studs are broke and need drilled, but there isn't enough room to do anything. If I can jack the engine enough to remove the manifold bolts, (in the head) I can remove the manifold and drill the y studs that are broke flush.
I have to do it soon because the exhaust fumes coming inside are terrible.
Stock V-8 manifolds.
Will it lift high enough? I want to change the plugs while I'm at it.
Thanks!

I'd be willing to bet that it'll work. Watch out for the distributor (that's gonna be really close!), wiring coming from the ECM, transmission lines, etc. If you have a cherry picker, you will have better luck picking the engine up as opposed to jackin gthe engine with a jack. Just chain it to the A/C compressor bracket.
