catback exhaust issues

Well, my cars stock catback system has fallen off (due to rust and brittle piping) and the muffler took the exhaust hangers with it. (I think. I'm not very experienced when it comes to exhaust work) now what I wanted to know is, can I get new exhaust hangers, buy a system, and install it on my own, or should I take it to a shop to get it done for way more. Id wrather do it myself if its possible. Thanks for the help guys!

Re: catback exhaust issues

Thats what I did. I ordered a cat and a cat back system and assembled it all with the supplied clamps. Then took it to a shop to have it welded. The cat back I ordered had the brackets/hangers attached for hanging the system and every thing on the car was intact. If you need to replace the rubber that the hangers go in to you should be able to pick them up at a auto parts store or a muffler shop.
