egr?

Car: 1990 firbird formula
Engine: 355ci
Transmission: t56 spec3+ cluch
Axle/Gears: 9 bolt disc brake 2.77
egr?

i have a 1990 firebird with a lo3 do i need the egr to pass emitions and will the car run right without it?

i would think that u would need the egr to pass emmisions because it has to deal with the left over unburt exhaust gasses..

No idea about emissions test in NY but in CA no way it can be removed and pass regardless of what comes out of the tail pipe. As for running it should be fine but you'll probably get a check engine light and a code stored.
