Gale Banks exhaust(Cat shot) Suggestions

Hi,i have a gale banks exhaust on my 86 305 ta. While i was putting my cover on the other day i was hooking up the cable underneath for the lock and i realized water(Condensation) from the engine leaking from the cat and not usually from my muffler(20 something degrees in NY now) Closer inspection revealed the cat is rotted badly. No surprise. I have a custom y pipe sitting under four feet of snow now from the gale banks 3.inch. flange. Do you have any cat suggestions for me? Thank you for your time.

Re: Gale Banks exhaust(Cat shot) Suggestions

just get a universal cat with the proper size and replace the bad one, welded or with clamps.
best yet take it to a muffler shop

Do you recommend any particular brand? I rather have it u clamped for easy removal but i'll weld it if it needs to be. I was thinking magnaflow direct fit.
