Help??
Okay so my exhaust is terrible. My muffler is rusted to hell and I don't have the money to replace it right now. And when driving all I can hear is the muffler and tail pipes banging against the bottom of the car. Any ideas on what I could do??

Re: Help??
cut off all the bad and deal with the loudness until you can afford to repair the exhaust properly

Re: Help??
dont just cut it off, it will be too loud, get you in trouble, and probably leave you lightheaded when you drive because of the fumes.
get under the car and take a look. rust doesnt affect how the exhaust works, if there are not holes in it, its fine. maybe a strap is broken or something simple. see if you can find the problem and you may find a quick cheap fix for the time being is just a new hanger or something.
