Quick question on H.O. 416 heads!!
Are the 416 heads on a 1983 carburated 305 angle plug heads?
I want to buy the p#68481 hedman hedders but jegs says the heads have to be angle plug heads for it to fit.

you sure??
I cant find ANY other CA street legal headers for this car and if I buy angle plug hedders with straight plug heads it will just be a pain in the a** to get to the spark plugs..or they may not fit?

I have an L69 w/ 416's as well. As sure as the sun will come up tomorrow, they not angle plug.
I would think you could run those headers with them- they don't look all that different from the sets of shorties I've ran with mine in the past.

Re: Quick question on H.O. 416 heads!!
Well I bought the headers I did a TON of reading and they have a lot of good feedback and they clear regardless the straight plug/angle plug.
I guess the 2055's are a lot better but to clear smog you have to have 1986-1990 year camaro...
I have the L69 with stock 416 heads I just had them completely rebuilt
