I know a few people on here have the dynomax catbacks that come with these but anyone got one of the walker intermediate pipes, from what i can tell the only difference is the mandrel bends on the dynomax, but at 1/3 the price and a completely stock car im wonder if its worth the extra for the dynomax or not. Did the stock systems have mandrel bends?

dynomax 47638 and walker 47572,

completely stock 305 tbi rs, plan to say that way, was going to use the dynomax cat back kit until i saw the price difference between them and walker, especially when walker makes dynomax.

 

When I got my 84 it had the stock intermediate pipe but had a newer muffler and tailpipes. The intermediate pipe was not mandrel bent. I'm guessing if your going to keep your car stock then you shouldn't need the mandrel bent pipe. My 2 cents.

Ended up going with the walker pipe, got the pipe, muffler, tail pipes, hangers and clamps all for $89 shipped(found a nice 40% code for advanced). will post a review once its all put on, just need a light **** and fix the fan so it works off the sensor again and the car will be all back to orig.
