I have an SLP LM2 catback without the muffler it comes with to put on my car. I was wondering if anyone has a sound clip of the lm2 with a bullet type muffler on a L98 with headers and no cat. I want to put this on my car this spring and I'm curious what it will sound like and what muffler I should go with.

 

i have a slp lm1 with all 3" no cat...stock 87 l98

all i can say bad about it is starting it at 5 am. it will keep you awake. but suprisingly its not droney at all on the highway. i drive one way 76 miles to work and i dont get a headache from the exhaust (the music usually causes the headache lol)

I have a 91 z28 with stock manifolds, y-pipe and cats with a SLP LM2. These clips are fairly accurate for the sound if you have a decent speaker setup on your computer but still cancel out quite a bit of the low tones. The SLP LM2 has a nice aggressive and deep exhaust note.

so all you have to do to make the slp lm2 system to fit is switch the side of the 2 hangers in the back?

 

Yes, or use 4th gen hangers.

 

Which kit do i buy. the one for the LT1 cars or the one for the LS1 cars?
