Yeah, Off-road Y-Pipe for Cats

Yes I need to keep my cats. I am putting in shorties and the stock Y pipe won't work with them so I need an aftermarket one. I am wondering if this will work with 1 5/8" shorties with 3" collector and if I could just slide the Y apart and fit them to my cats. Greatly appreciate any help.
