Wanting a generally quiet catback exhaust system for my 2.8 V6. Converter included. Looking to spend under $400 if at all possible. Experience and suggestions? Thanks

when I first got my car I put a stock replacement Maremont exhasut system with small diameter tail pipes on my 2.8 I just picked it up at a local parts store it cost me 70 bucks for the exhaust pipe from the cat to the muffler, 60 bucks for the muffler 10 bucks each for the tail pipes (one for each side) and its no louder then any other stock car on the road.

Agreed. Any stock replacement, (Maremont, Merit, Walker), will be fine.
