i have a 2 1/2 dynomax cat back exhaust with stock cat the flange to the cat rotted and big leak.. would this cause the sluggish power?

just drove car on street today for first time. you stand on the gas and it makes a lot of noise but goes now where..

yes engine is stock and yes it still has the 2.73 rear end. but

driving it up and down my street it drove ok until the exhaust got loud in front of my new catback

 

i had new flange welded on no more leak

 

Did you get your power back from just welding a flange?

 

yes power back after fixing the leak.. cars all stock other then cat back so it was NEVER a rocket. but yes it runs and drives just like before the leak!
