Mufflex 4inch questions!
Goodmorning everyone... Im curious if anyone would be willing to post some pics of the mufflex catback on their car up. Im running a flowmaster 80s series catback right now and im sick of it. My only questions are "does mufflex make this exhaust for dual cat/ G92 cars" and do you have to fab it alot, because my flowmaster 3inch touches everything and barely clears the diff housing. Thanks

Mufflex does a great job making everything clear, I have the 3.5" and it clears awesome and my car is lowered. A few friends have the 4" system and it clears great too. As you are close in CT, you could drive to their shop to get a system installed and welded up all nice and tight.

Re: Mufflex 4inch questions!
I have a mufflex custom 4 inch cat back on my 91 Z. Being in NJ, I was able to go to the shop to have it installed. Everything fits beautifully - they do a great job. I do have to mention - the pic shows 40 series Flowmaster - the second tail pipe is a custom fabrication. The 4 inch muffler only comes with one. It's mostly just for show, although there is a small hole that allows condensation/smoke and a little noise out.
I can get more pics if you want - this one was one I took while everything was being installed.

That's pretty much what he did. I wanted two tailpipes - I like the look, and wanted the larger size - but also wanted to see the condensation - as if both were really working. We started with a smaller hole, with the possibility to make it larger to play the with tone - just can't go too big, as it could start sounding like an open pipe.

Looks good and Im sure it works great.I would have made it 4inches also. Then where you have the flange bolted is how borla adjusts the tone. This is how my old setup was (borla)

You could go ALL thru the muffler or open and allmost all thru the single pipe.
I keep the medium hole plate in mine.
