2&1/2" vs 3" which

I am putting a 330hp 350 in my vert. It has all the goodies. GMP intake. 46mm TBI and headers. The headers are 1&3/4" inlets, and the collectors of 2&1/2 inch. I just need to know if it's worth the extra money to go with 3"? I am starting to buy the cat and muffler and my local shop will custom make the rest.

Thanks the knowledge and experiences I am finding here is invaluable to my build.

There is a pretty heated argument going on at this thread could be some useful info or you could chime in there. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/exha...xhaust-am.html
IMO you should go with 3inch because you already have dual 2 1/2 no need to choke that down by half at least with 3 inch you have more room to grow too.
