Hedman longtubes and magnaflow catback
Going to put Hedman longtubes on my z28 this winter and build a y pipe just curious if anyone has ran this setup with/without cat and with the magnaflow cat back on a more or less stock motor and how it sounded? I ran the same longtubes with a y pipe I made with no cats and a stock 4thgen muffler on a 82 trans am I had and I enjoyed it. Another question will I need to instal a h02 in the collector or will the stock style sensor be sufficient?

Lol you just tagge me in that y pipe photo on fb. Anyway yes I love my magnaflow setups just mainly curious to how it will sound with longtubes with or without a cat on a sbc. Im running a 14in case single in/out on my 5.3 swaped trans am and a 14in case magnaflow on my Yukon Xl 5.3 with no cats and longtubes they both sound amazing the Yukon sounds really good but those are both lsx based.

I know what you mean. I already have the catback on this car with a 3in magnaflow cat I'm just debating on if I want to try and shoehorn the cat back into the system or not.

Safety and visual only. Some shops are more easy going than others. My Yukon has no cats but has two resonators that look similar.
