Re: DUAL CAT CATBACK ?

I have a 3 inch magnaflow from the cats back. I like the sound, not too loud but when opened up screams.
Stock intermediate pipe is 2.75". I have heard that one of the biggest restrictions on these cars is the y-pipe after the converters.

Re: DUAL CAT CATBACK ?

I used the system that was made for the 4th gen cars. The intermediate pipe was fabricated to fit the third gen. I ended up buying the system used fairly inexpensively. However, I have seen the complete cat back system for third gens selling on ebay in the realm of $400.

Re: DUAL CAT CATBACK ?

I like the magnaflow, except the huge ugly tips. Formulas need a more stock stealthy look.

Use any cat-back system. Just get a Flowmaster y-pipe to work after the dual cats.
