Installing the Flowmaster catback on my 1984 with Dyno Don's Y-pipe. Problem is, the thing is really damn low. I think I may have it routed wrong. Anyone know if it follows stock location? Because right now the way I routed it it runs under the floorboard instead of in the transmission tunnel. I feel like this is wrong and probably will rub. Flowmaster provided a 45 degree angle piece of tubing that's about 9" long. Does this go on the y pipe instead of the catback? Because Don's y-pipe doesn't have a 45 degree bend in it like the stock one does for the cat. If I did it this way I could probably follow the transmission tunnel, but not sure. Any input from people who have installed these before is appreciated.
So looking at Don's ad on TDS solves part of my question. The 45 is his, not Flowmaster's. Go figure, all my exhaust stuff got thrown in one box and it got mixed.
But second question still remains. Should the flowmaster follow stock routing? My guess would be yes, but not 100% sure.

Yes, the Flowmaster system follows the stock routing. I put one on the '91RS that i owned years ago, fit like a glove.
Perfect, thanks guys. Hopefully finishing up my install tonight, if I can make it out to the garage without falling on my face. Damn it New England weather.
