Hello, i am trying to get ideas what what type of exhaust tips to get.

 

I just cut my muffler off put a ypipe where the muffler was then 2 pipes off the ypipe out the back...gonna cut the cat off next an put a glasspack in its place next....its kinda got a good grawl to it just off the cat bu glasspack will be louder....ill get pics soon

Flowmaster American thunder series

i no longer have the blue camaro but i have the same exhaust for my iroc z

 

I also have the Flowmaster American Thunder Cat back but I cut the tips back. You can just barely see them unless you’re driving behind me and that's the way I like them. 3in system with 3in. tips .

 

I dont have any pictures, but i have the flowmaster 30 series, removed the cat and put an electric cut out in its place when i want to show off, also have hooker shorty headers. I put some 3 or 3 1/2" exhaust tips out the back.

 

i also have edelbrck shorty headers and high flow y pipe, a magnaflow high flow cat and cutout, obviously all arent on the car yet but i have them all, i miss my blue camaro now after seeing the pics again

I’m glad you asked. This car is by no means an attempt to restore it to its former glory. It is mostly custom and aftermarket upgrades. This is the first car that I have had to turn into a project.
I found the car in some guy’s back yard. We got it to barley run by dumping in fuel and jumping the starter. If you want to call that running. Any way I counted the plug wires and came up with 8. Good enough for me so I bought the car for $500.00 and drug it out of his back yard. It needed everything including a new hatch. I had no clue what I was looking at when I found the "short wing" on a 1988 sport coupe. It had what I think is a very nice wing and limo tint on the glass so I bought it. Slowly the car came together and now that I have been a member here for 7 years I know a thing or two about these cars and believe I have put together one slightly different than most of these cars but one that fits my style perfectly. I had to make a critical decision about the wing because we were about to paint the car. I don't really care for the duck tail spoiler and the high rise wing is too much for me so I kept the short wing. I think it blends in nicely with my 2in. cowl hood.
Side note = That "Short Wing" was only produced for half of a year in 1988.( Sorry this is totally off topic )

Don't the early trans-am's (83-85) use a similar wing ?

Tbh, idk what type of exhaust it is, I swapped it off my donor 99 z28.
Oval exhaust tips rolled at the end

 

Hey does anyone out there have a center exhaust ive been looking for one and some pics. Also did you find the bumper or did you have to fabricate one ...thanks guys

 

I made them out of 3" pipe coming out of my 80 series

 

by center exhaust do you mean like this? These are my true dual 2.5" pipes dumping before the rear axle.

 

I think he means tip(s) coming out the middle of the bumper
