need some help - spark plug wires??

i have a set of hooker shorty headers and i have a set of 8.5mm msd spark plug wires, they're all straight boots though and i've tried to bend them to make them work, problem is that the boots got torn a little and i can see a spark jumping from them to the header

what is the best set of spark plug wires that'll work with shorties? or anyone know of an 8.5mm set of boots i can put on here instead?

I bought these and have them installed alongside my 2055's coated with 1700* Jet-Hot inside and out. Also using DEI Protect-A-Boots. I had to remove the ring inside the DEI boots so I could fit them over the large MSD boots and keep them snug. Enjoy.

45 degree angled boots work the best with headers. I also use the LT-1 metal sparkplug boots.

Re: need some help - spark plug wires??

i got my buddy at my local Napa to get me some msd right angle plugs. gonna be a bit of a PITA to swap them all out, but i think it'll be for the best
when i had my cast iron heads i agree the 45 degree ones were the best, but with my new aluminum heads they already have about a 45 degree angle, which sets the spark plug boot directly into the header in each direction lol, the plugs were easier to put in, but the boots werent lol thanks for the input guys
