Hey guys. I'm ripping apart an 89 Camaro for parts that a guy I know is about to scrap. Well I've been interested in the exhaust because it has like massive 4 in tips on it and it looks rather good in my opinion. Well yesterday I climbed under it to cut it off at the muffler only to find that it has no muffler. It goes from a y pipe. To a 3 inch exhaust, all the way back to the axle, over the axle then basicly y pipes into the two tail pipes. Has anyone ever seen this before?

I have seen similar done on those "ChooChoo Customs" 1500's back in the early 90's.
Sounds like a ski boat at idle and a log truck when on the gas........

And those tips will look like trash..........just an opinion......... these cars didnt leave the factory with gaudy chrome tips for a reason.............ITS A HORRIBLE LOOK..........

no its different. I'm going back for it today and to finish getting the other stuff as well. I'll get pictures after I get it out and ready to install into mine. I think my l31 will sound rather mean after the install. Then I can ditch my flow master 80 and my 2 1/4 inch pipe lol
