hi all i have to redo my exhaust its just gone basically i picked up 2 slp mufflers for 50 bucks i have a 3 inch pipe from headers back i plan a y after the rear end then 1 muffler in the middle of each pipe has anyone done this or should i just do the normal 1 before the y and have straight pipe after the slp.

 

im assuming the normal loudmouth set up is good enough

 

I did have an 82 Z28 Pace Car and best I remember the exhaust split after it went over the rearend and had two small mufflers right before the outlets turned down. It sounded really good and ive never saw another like it. If you could get someone to make the split like the SLP or Texas Speed Rumbler has I don't see why you couldn't run the two mufflers right before the outlets if that's what you wanted. I think you have room they aren't very big I don't think.
