Magnaflow 93456 Cat Install

Magnaflow 93456 Cat Install
Howdy all...long time listener, first time caller.
Since I have owned this car, I have had to basically rebuild the exhaust and right now I am down to needing a new Cat between the Y pipe and the...umm..last pipe before the muffler. (Not a mechanic, trying to learn as I go)
All the piping is 2.5 so I ordered the following...

It shows that it should be direct fit. The only real opportunity I see coming is on the tail end. The pipe at the other side has the "bell shape" but there is no bracket on the other side. Pretty sure it rotted off, or was more likely cut off for some reason, as the pipe is in beautiful shape.
Will a 2.5 in split flange fit? That end plate has 4 different holes and im curious if they would line up.
Already ordered the part, so if that wont work, I will have to figure something out...just curious if anyone already has experience in this.
