Weird Question...
I've owned my '88 5.7 TPI IROC for about a year and a half now, and I have an odd question.
The car ran horribly when I first got it, and the exhaust (stock exhaust) seemed very loud.
At each point I fixed the running/drivability issues, the car seemed to get quieter. Oddly enough, several people recently have complemented me on how nice the exhaust sounds.
Am I imagining things that now that it runs well, the exhaust isn't nearly as loud as it was when I first got it, or have I simply become used to it?

Re: Weird Question...
How well the engine runs can change how loud it is
