The Hooker 2055's come with O2, A.I.R. fittings, and y-pipe with 2-1/2" downpipes going to a 3" slip-fit cat. The Hooker 2460's have the O2 bung, but A.I.R. is extra and no y-pipe is available.
I don't know if either would be easier to install. I installed mine on the engine when it was out and stabbed it that way, putting the y-pipe on afterwards. I opened up the collector ball flange opening to the ID of the downpipes after a trial fit of the y-pipe.
I don't know of any 3rd gen header that made spark plugs easier to get to (put them in while the engine was out as well).
Personally, I don't like that tube going over the top of the TES. But, that's just looks, not performance. I don't have any personal experience with TES.

The hookers are $350 from summit, along with the coated Edelbrocks...
How are the welds and everything on the Hookers? It's a 3" slipfit cat?
