Full exhaust system??
I found a full exhaust system for sale in the local paper for $125. I'm going to go check it out later today. It's 3" all the way from manifolds back I think. There is ont problem that is holding me back. I just added headers to my car and had a Y-Pipe made for it. I don't want to spend another $150 for the pipe again. Would it be possible to cut that, and add on to it?
I am saying that that pipe s done in about 2 1/2 or 2 1/4 I'm not sure. Would I be able to cut off at the point where the two sides meet and begin 3" there? I still have a 305, so I'm sure the 2 and whatever can keep a side good until the 3". I am really leaning towards getting this. If not for that, but a 3" cat-back that sounds like it might be new. I'm going to look at it and hopefully get it. I can't see any reason why a 3" cat-back would not be worth the $125 alone.
Let me know wat you think. I would like to know ASAP. I'm going to be looking at it tonight.
