A.I.R. tube nut size???

A.I.R. tube nut size???

What size are the nuts that screws the air tubes into the exhaust manifolds, 15mm seems too big and might strip and 9/16 won't fit. What size is it? Please help! It's a 350 TPI L98.

thanks, I actually just cut the air tubes and slipped a socket onto them, just made life easier.

They are actually 1/2" - 20 straight threads, I use some 1/2"-20 alan head set screws to block them off, but 1/4" NPT plugs will work (the tapered thread is the same but will bind up in the threads when you get it threaded in far enough)
