I'm swapping in a 350 and while i do that i want to get a full exhaust, from headers, y-pipe, converter, and all the way back. What would you guys suggest, how much can i expect to pay (hoping to stay below $650)?

As far as headers with your budget go with either Hooker or Edelbrock. I would also suggest the Hooker cat-back, as that and Flows seem to be the most popular. I have a sound clip of it in my sign. plus that's with a non hi flo cat. As far as a cat, Catco sells really good ones and are affordable. By the way, nice car.

 

I'm not sure you'll quite make it on that budget. Hooker 2055's, which are what you'd want, are $350 from Summit (seach on their website for HOK-2055). A Catco direct-fit is about $120 - avoid the universal fit, even though they aren't quite as much. Cat-backs (couldn't find the Hooker system on Summit's site) run about $220-250.

That's over $700. You could probably reduce that a little by going TES ($20-30), but I sure like the way the Hookers run. If emissions aren't an issue, you could do the Hedmans & y-pipe for about $200, which would get you closer to your budget.

It's sure worth it, though.
