Headers for TPI IROC

I'm sure I'm not the first or last to answer this question, and to all of you who've answered it over and over again I apologize. Anyway here goes. I've got and 86 IROC with 305tpi and 700R-4. I want to put headers and a y pipe on along with hi flow cat, and my cat back. What headers have you all used? And the biggest question, how big of a pain in the *** is it? Would I be smart to put it on a lift, or can I do it fairly easy on jackstands in the garage? I know that long tubes are the best but I have seen some shorty style headers that look like they might be a fairly easy install. I had my eye on the Edelbrock TES on something similar. Any info would be helpful.

I used the Edelbrock headers. The install wasn't bad at all, just a little time consuming. Took my brother and I 6hrs to do. The longest part is clearing the smog/AC stuff out the way and getting the manifold/ y-pipe off. If you have access to a lift I'd use it. But we did mine in the driveway with a jack. If you want the best headers get SLP.

If money isn't that big of a deal then I would get the SLP headers. From what I have heard they are the best.
