I have Magnaflows on my car right now and I wanted to upgrade my pipes to SLP's system. If the muffler is a similar design I will keep them or else I will buy the system just for the mandrel bent pipes.

But how does the cutaway of the muffler look like?

should be pretty much the same thing.

 

For the 2OTL muffler, looking in the direction of exhaust flow, it has a central divider, perforated steel mesh running around the interior wall, and wide open daylight to the outlet on the other side.
