can other manufactured headers fit different y-pipes????

I have the complete TES header w/ y-pipe and i want to get another header set but use the y pipe Can i use another header brand such as Heddman, hooker or any other name brand and fit it into the Edelbrock y-pipe? if so which brand will fit the Edelbrock y-pipe? reason i dont want the TES is cause of its air tubes, im not running emmisions so i want headers without it. this is how my y-pipe looks like

I'd say about an 80% chance that they won't. That other 20% is for companies like Flowtech that sell their products to Summit under a private label.

Edelbrock isn't in any partnership like that, so you chances are slim to none that it's gonna work.

Your local muffler shop (IE not Midas, etc.) may be able to slightly bend them to reach both collectors, but the flanges may still be too far off in size to work. I guess it's worth a shot to have them look at it.

But by the time you pay them, you might not be too far off from the cost of buying the proper one. Sometimes it's better to pay that little extra.
