Cat-back performance

What kind of power gains can I expect when I get 3in tubing with a free flow cat and an 80s Flowmaster? Will it be noticeable? These questions just keep popping in my head as I get closer to getting the exhaust done. Anyone have this set-up? How loud is it for you? I plan on using two 3in tips.

I was pretty much in the same spot as you, I had an all stock 350 and it made a BIG difference. I also took the cat off too.

When I had the stock cat-back on my car with no cat, and then added the Hooker cat-back and a cat, it was a definate power adder.
