Edelbrock TES pipe size? HP gain?

Edelbrock TES pipe size? HP gain?
What size is the pipe leading to the catalytic converter on the TES? My engine is the L03 TBI but I have heard that the TPI headers also fit and work a little better? I want to get a better catalytic converter but what size do I need?
Edelbrock claims "real-world gains of up to 22 HP" but is that with a good cat-back? What should I expect with the headers, highflow catalytic converter and straight pipes from the cat-back?
