gutting the cat?

gutting the cat?

first of all, what does it mean to "gut" the cat? i've even heard a guyh say he gutted his intake...what does this mean?!

it means that you take out the catalytic ceramic brick from inside the cat so there is nothing inside. Pounding it out with a rod and hammer. You're better off just puting a pipe in its place if you don't want a cat.
