exhaust leak
exhaust leak
there seems to be a leak where the headers bolt to the y-pipe. i just bout it and the previous owner told me bout it. it rattles a little and u can see exhaust if it is cold. do u think this would make much a differnce in power, should i worry bout gett'n it fixed right away. i wasn't gonna worry bout it too much but if this can affect noticeable horsepower i'll fix it soon.

It probably isn't much of a performance issue. Carbon monoxide is another matter, though.
guess what guys, took it down to Rockford motorsports to check out the exhaust..... the bolts for the header to the y-pipe on both sides were so loose u could see a 1/4" gap inbetween the header/y-pipe. that explains the loudness of the exhaust. it was soo bad that now that i have it all tightened down, it feels like it has way less horsepower. now that i've had a little taste open headers, i'm consider'n those valves to switch to open headers.
