i think my cat is clogged....please help
ok when i floor my car it still has low end torque but it has NO upper RPM HP....it just doesnt pull at all....and it barely goes up to 4000.......the belt snapped on my smog pump a couple months ago.....and i heard that if you try and just take off the belt on the smog pump it will clog the cat.......is this true?
if so....do you think mine is bad?
thanks!

I've read you are supposed to remove the o2 sensor, start up the car, and see if it revs better, if it does, clogged cat.
If I were you, I'd just replace the thing, it probably has some age and miles on it, get a high flow, or none at all
