I am running a PaceSetter 3" Catback on my 86 Trans Am. This catback came right off of my friends 95 Trans Am. Everything bolted up just fine and the I-Pipe routing is identical.
Just letting you all know so that you have more choices for cat-backs.
Here is a video of my car, you can hear my exhaust perfect.

Doesn't the dual cat cars have the second cat or the end of the y-pipe in the same location as the single cat cars?
It shouldn't be a problem for a muffler shop to cut the I-pipe or lengthen it to fit right. From the muffler to the front of the car it all routes the same.
