Cat or no cat??? That is the question.
Cat or no cat??? That is the question.
If I decide to drop my A.I.R. stuff, would it be better to stick on a hollow cat with the air tube capped, or would a non air tube high-flow cat be better? Keep in mind, I have an extra factory cat that is already gutted I can just slap on, but I'd be willing to spend the $ if a high-flow is better for this application(I just don't wanna burn up a new cat by running no air injection to it.) It is on an '88 L98 basically stock except for headers. Thanks guys, this place has better advice than a GM service department!!!

I dont think the cat would have any harm done to it by not having the air tube going to it. Get a high-flow cat and be emissions happy (unlike me....)
