Even with a 4th gen rear end, your likely to be needing to mod the inner fenderwell.
I have 6.5" bs on a 9-bolt & had to mod my inner panel. With 4.5" bs they were an easy fit (of course). If you use the general rule of thumb of 2" (per side) for the 4th gen axle, that makes 6.5" bs equal to mine with a 4th gen axle. I don't even want to think about how much more cutting & rebuilding it would have taken to get clearance for just another 1" of wheel.

Oh okay thanks for the info! but right now im running 18x10.5 rims with 7.95bs on the rear with 295-35-18 (27.85 Height) with no mod and or hammering. Thats why im thinking i can fit a 15x10 with 7.5 bs under my car. Thanks

8" bs, on a 4th gen rear end? I have 17"s & your 18" would help to clear the bumpstop, but my biggest hurdle was the front lower portion of the fenderwell. The bumpstop was the easiest part to"fix".
I can't even begin to wrap my head around how a 8"bs wheel fit with zero mods, even on a 4th gen rear end.

well right now i have a thirdgen rear end on my camaro with 2'' adapters and that fits my z06 rims with 17x9.5 front 275/40/17 and 18x10.5 295/35/18 rear. I have a moser 9 rear end for a 4th gen ready to install next week im just looking for drag rims to put on it when its ready to launch.
