I know this is an old quote but was wondering if anyone ever found another source for these Notchback struts or an alternative replacement?

Nope. I even contacted StrongArm struts, i think that was the name, and they weren't any help. I'm still looking myself.
I may have to have some custom made somewhere somehow, like a run of 10 or 20 sets. And then hope I could sell the extras.
