WTB: 91-92 TA GTA tail lights.

I know there are people out there sitting on many sets of these that won't sell any of them for some reason. Grand dreamers or their just hoarders that need professional help. lol

No cracked lenses please.

Some delam and light scratches are ok.

Near mint, mint and NOS also wanted.

I'm not a dreamer or tire kicker with no money.

Thanks

I'm not getting notifications when someone post on this thread and others. Please PM or email me if you have these for sale. I'm getting notifications for PMs and emails.

the price of these have gone up considerably since I purchased mine some years ago. I looked last year for a spare set and most wanted 500+ for them in moderate condition

Well if you bought them after the crash of 08 they were a lot cheaper just like so many other parts. I was parting out 3rd gens before that as a small little side business and saw sales fall off big time when the crash happened the summer of 08. There was good deals to be had during that time through 11-12 when things improved.

Even though I just got back into 3rd gens recently after about 12 years out, I haven't seen a big difference in the pricing. Due to age and poor manufacturing the delam virus has probably claimed more victims and drove the price up on mint ones. But I have not seen any mint ones for sale but I just got back into the game about a month ago.

I doubt I will buy a mint or NOS set since I plan on spraying them with a medium smoke tint and then clear coats. I don't want to do that to a mint or NOS set. Those should go on a real nice 91-92 GTA or TA IMO.

I've seen prices for them all over and sold several sets for a decent price . A little more after I had them tinted and polished. Aren't these cars as a whole an addiction?

Re: WTB: 91-92 TA GTA tail lights.

Things have changed a lot in recent years. These cars bottomed out, cash for clunkers, the scramble for cash, scrapping for parts, reduced the available parts pool. The actual value of cash has dropped 50%, or everything has doubled in value, depending on your view point. There are few thirdgens left in junkyards in most places. Even common parts are getting hard to come by.

Yes they are. lol. I had a stash of parts I've been sitting on for about 12 years now. I decided to finally sell it because I THOUGHT I would never buy a 3rd gen again. I started selling the parts and BAM... I bought a real nice unmolested 91 Formula 350.. It hasn't stopped there now I'm buying upgrade parts and spare parts. Oh well it does make us happy!! lol

Don't forget when metal weight prices went sky high around 07. They were scrapping every car they could get their hands on. Everybody and their brother was buying "junk" cars then.

They were crushing them as soon as they got them.
