Where to go from here.

Right nowI have a 1983 camaro berlinetta that I swapped a carburated 350 into, and as of right now Ive got some things I'd like to take care of:

First off - under the hood that won't fit on the car, or where it should be rather, I have a massive mess of wiring, hoses, and parts Im not entirely sure I need anymore. So I need a wiring diagram of some sort, so I can sort through.

- Also is there any way I can relocate the window wiper motor, its in a really annoying place - Im not sure if the under hood area of 305 or 350 cars is set up differently...

So basically, Im looking to clean all of it up, and try to remove some dead wieght. (for example the fuel vapour canister deal - is this thing really neccesary? - I live in alberta where smog regulations mean next to nothing.)

Also after I sorta that a bit, and take care of some minor issues that are related to my swap (brake lines, fuel lines, trans bracket for torque arm.) What should I do next? In the grand scheme of things, to sort out my engine bay a bit more, and possibly get a hood on the car, I want to get a new set of pulleys and related parts, as well as an aftermarket fuelpump and carburator... I just can't decide where to go from that possible point.

I can answer a couple of your questions...

The wiper motor is in the same spot on all model 3rd gen camaros and firebirds. Sorry, you're just going to have to work around it. I do agree about it being in a sucky spot though.

If you aren't running any emissions equipment anymore, then you don't need the fuel vapor canister.

As far as what to do next, you might want to think about stiffening up the chassis. Maybe some subframe connectors, a wonder bar, some Lower control arms in the rear, a track bar. Stuff like that.
