i wanna get a cowl hood somethin like a 3 inch cervini. i wanna do somethin different tho. id like to add the chevelle type hood flapper from the 70-72 cowl induction hoods. im not ure how to make it work by vacumm and how to mount it on the hood any help would be great. thanx

Do a search. This has come up before (I'd give you more info, but it has been awhile). Firebirds (IIRC) had that exact setup.

 

So did '80/81 Z28 Camaros with the air induction hood.
