You can cast urethane yourself, make a flexible silicone rubber mold and then mix up a 2 part urethane compound and pour it in. It has to be done in a single pour though and the stuff starts to cure pretty quickly with a large amount of heat, so it would be difficult to mix enough to pour a large part by hand. Fiberglass would probably be easier.

do you mean urithane or urethane? at first i thought you couldn't spell, like me, and googled it and found out it really is something for performance applications, looks like for import applications mostly.

actually i cant spell lol. i have a habit of typing to fast. the stuff the front bumper is made out of. i want to use that material. i want to chop a front bumper and add the designs i have in mind and then make a mold and pour the stuff in. i figure it would be a lot more durable then a fiberglass nose since the roads in jersey suck.

there are alot of vetts around here. most with cracked noses for the older models. i know in my area and the area i work in i hit the nose of my grand prix a few times a week. why should i spend alot fo time designing a nose that will be destroyed in a few weeks? just to get into the parking lot where i work i have to stop and make my way in sideways. and the street i live on hasnt been paved in 39 years.
